Birch Smart Home lets Birch Stays connect and operate heating in holiday properties we manage. Property owners (or Birch staff acting with their permission) authorise access to a Google Nest / Google Home household. We then read thermostat state and send heat or mode commands so homes can pre-heat before guest check-in and switch to an eco or away setting after check-out.

The application uses Google Device Access (Smart Device Management) only for that heating automation. It does not use Google user data for advertising, and it does not request camera or microphone access.
